The new Butterfly sofa by B&B Italia

Among the many new outdoor designs proposed by B&B Italia during the Salone del Mobile 2015, the Butterfly sofa by Patricia Urquiola stands out as a highlight – both in terms of its creative concept and for its innovative material composition, which combine to provide inimitable style and superlative comfort.

Inspired by the forms of a "butterfly", the sofa features voluptuous curves and sinuous lines that define the profiles and join the arms and back. Butterfly is also a modular seating system that responds effectively to the different spaces with pure comfort, offering a free and informal seating solution that is both beautiful and incredibly functional.

Butterfly also comes with ottomans, which, when integrated with a back and / or arm become a central or terminal element that can be placed to the right or left. In this way, a combination of these elements via a simple connection system, creates free and versatile configurations – from linear sofas or corner solutions to entire lounge suites.
